Ed Bagley's Top 25 Polls – Week 14 – Guess Who's No. 1 time

Alabama, Texas, Cincinnati, Oregon and Georgia all won conference championships and recently won the key points in four of the next 5, coveted BCS bowl games. This is how their victories have changed My Top 25 rankings survey for the college football 14th week.

1) Alabama (13-0) – Beat Florida, last year's national champion, 32-13, to win the SEC Conference Championship and the right to play Texas in the National Championship Game. There is a reason why I have had the No. 1 Alabama in the last 7 weeks in a row. Now you know why the Crimson Tide players are better than the Gator players this year.

2) Texas (13-0) – Nearly a bother tenacious defense of Nebraska, but used a second on the clock to kick a field goal from 46 yards and win the Big 12 championship, 13-12, and the right to play Alabama in the Championship Game National.

Three) Cincinnati (12-0) – came from 21 points down to outlast Pittsburgh 45-44 to win the Big East championship and will face Florida in the Sugar Bowl. I like high-powered Cincinnati's offense spread, and its unbeaten record, but not his defense. Moreover, outstanding Florida defense gave 32 points to Alabama.

4) Texas Christian (12-0) – Won the title of the Mountain West Conference, and now faces fellow unbeaten Boise State (13-0) in the BCS Fiesta Bowl. It marks the first BCS game ever with two mid-major teams.

5) Boise State (13-0) – He won the title Western Athletic Conference, and will now face undefeated Texas Christian in the Fiesta Bowl.

6) Florida (12-1) – Lost SEC title game to Alabama 32-13, and lost the right to defend its national title. Cincinnati will face undefeated in the BCS Sugar Bowl. Florida fans, please shut up. There is a difference between wanting to win, play to win, thinking he will win, and win. Nuff said.

7) Oregon (10-2) – Defeated Slugfest Oregon State 37-33 to win the Pac-10 Conference title and a trip to the BCS Rose Bowl to face Ohio State. Played much tougher competition that Atlantic Coast Conference and Big even ten teams.

8) Ohio State (10-2) – Won the Big Ten outright and will face Oregon in the Rose Bowl. Played much tougher competition than Costa Atlantic Conference teams.

9) Georgia Tech (11-2) – Beat Clemson 39-34 to win the title of the Atlantic Coast Conference, and Iowa will play in BCS Bowl Orange.

10) Iowa (10-2) – Second place in the Big Ten with Penn State, but beat the Nittany Lions in front, and Hawkeyes take your best defense for the Orange Bowl against Georgia Tech

11) Penn State (10-2) – Second place in the Big Ten with Iowa will meet Louisiana State in the Capital One Bowl, the bowl game next most prestigious after the five BCS bowl games.

12) LSU (9-3) – Finished in second place Alabama in the SEC Western Division. Penn State will face in the Capital One Bowl.

13) Pittsburgh (9-3) – Cincinnati gave everything I wanted and more before they lost before the Bearcats 45-44 in the championship game of the Big East. Will Carolina North Face (8-4) in the game Meineke Car Care Bowl. Pitt should have deserved a better game bowl.

14) Nebraska (9-4) – Do you have little attention as the Cornhuskers struggled earlier in the year to find a crime that could win games. Darn near upset of Texas for the title of the Big 12. Will meet Arizona (8-4) in the Holiday Bowl. This should be a great bowl game because these are two very worthy teams with better than average defenses, Nebraska ranks 11th nationally in total defense, and Arizona 22 120 major college teams.

15) Oregon State (8-4) – Oregon gave all he could handle in the game Pac-10 title before losing, 37-33. Beavers are a dirty team, with half his head in of container, of Las Vegas to face Brigham Young (10-2). It says something when a team is facing a 10-2 team 8-4 in a bowl game. The Cougars improved to ensure bring your helmet to it, otherwise, the Beavers could beat them silly.

16) East Carolina (9-4) – beat Houston (10-3) for mid-major United States Conference Championship, 38-32, and earned a trip to the Liberty Bowl to face Arkansas (7-5), the team absolutely nobody wanted to play in the SEC. Georgia was the most Arkansas, beat Texas A & M, Auburn and South Carolina, and lost three road games to Florida, LSU and Mississippi, all by a field goal unique. Yikes. This should be very interesting for East Carolina, there is no doubt that will appeal to Arkansas.

17) Stanford (8-4) – Could be the second best 8-4 team in the country. Played the most difficult schedule in his 19th climb back to national recognition. Will face Oklahoma (7-5) in the Bowl Oklahoma Sun might be the best 7-5 team in the country.

18) Brigham Young (10-2) – He was second behind TCU in the Mountain West Conference. Faces Oregon State (8-4) in the Las Vegas Bowl.

19) A team of mystery that nobody knows.

20) Utah (9-3) – Finished 3rd to TCU and BYU at the Conference Mountain West. Will face California (8-4) in the Poinsettia Bowl.

21) California (8-4) – the best candidates of the season for the yo-yo had wins award against UCLA, Arizona State, Arizona and Stanford, and huge losses against Oregon, southern California, Oregon and Washington State. Will face Utah in the Poinsettia Bowl, two teams they deserve.

22) Houston (10-3) – Lost to East Carolina (9-4) in the championship game of the Conference USA, 38-32, despite having the nation scoring offense more explosive. The fact that the Pumas are relegated to play Air Force (7-5) in the Armed Forces Bowl shows you what people really have to think of Houston.

23) Southern California (8-4) – are most striking consequences of the power of the season, losing to Washington, Oregon, Stanford and Arizona. The Trojans were at least 11 wins and BCS bowl game aspects for 7 consecutive years, the football program's most successful in the country during the streak that broke this year. Will face the Boston University (8-4) in the Emerald Bowl. If USC beat Boston College, his image will have another great success.

24) Central Michigan (11-2) – Beat Ohio (9-4), 20-10, for the championship of the Mid-American Conference and will face Troy ((9-3), champions of the Conference Sun Belt, in the GMAC Bowl.

25) There are other teams impressed me enough to even deserve my place 25. Enter your favorite, because it has five cents of difference to me.

This is not my last Poll Top 25 for this season. The next and last will be published after the National Championship Game between Alabama and Texas on January 7. Until then, enjoy the 34 bowl games
