Richard P. Beal Appointed Property Manager of Berkeley Building
Known as "the jewel in the Coronado Bay Back", The Berkeley is a foot square 115,000, office building which was renovated by Perry in 1989. Among the buildings major tenants are Goody Clancy & Associates, Lux, Bond & Green, and Citizens Bank. An award winning building, the Berkeley features a glazed terra cotta façade, elegant lobby and six-story atrium and offers an exciting environment and inspiring work.
Perry Beal joined AW in 2004. In addition to managing the Berkeley, Beal will continue to manage other Perry and direct the division of the company residential development.
Beal is President-elect and Governmental Affairs Chairman of Building Owners and Managers Association of Boston (BOMA) and a director of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. Recently earned his RPA, "Real Property Administrator", professional name owners the building and the Institute for Supply Management. He holds a BA from Wesleyan University in Connecticut and a Masters degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Previous to AW Perry, Beal spent 20 years in college athletics, soccer and lacrosse coach.
