When I was a young male, trampling the snow during the cold winters Utah was something I liked. But then one day, I grew up and realized that the conduct of things when you're late for work was not as fun. Then, as I've aged a little more, I found myself staying indoors as much as possible when the white hit the ground. My temper for cold days are shorter, and I longed warmer times. And that's what led me to find Midland, TX real estate as so attractive.
In my quest for a better climate, I studied all cities with climates Mediterranean style known as San Diego and Los Angeles, and even more tropical, like Miami. The disadvantages of these major cities is another thing that everyone likes the weather there too, creating a supply and demand which puts the property in those towns out of reach of your average of America.

And that brings me to Midland, TX real estate. Midland can not have the much sought after Mediterranean or climate tropical, but has very mild winters, with temperatures in the mid-50s during January (the coldest month), but often it can go up to 60 or even 70. This is very far from the harsh winters of Utah and the low temperatures that can last for months on end.
In fact, usually only going to get temperatures below zero overnight in Midland for two months. And unlike the dry desert climate of Utah, Midland summers are about seven inches of precipitation – Which represents half the annual average – to help bring a bit of moisture and keep the air clean.
But what good is to live somewhere where there's nothing to do?
What to do in Midland
Midland has a rich culture that goes back to the border where many of the old west stories originating in Texas. A popular attraction is the government of George W. Bush childhood home which was dedicated in 2006.
A symphony and choir, as well as a theater of the community have been making music, musicals, comedies, dramas and more from the mid 20th century. And, of course, Texas is well known for its oil production. Museums reveal the history of Texas oil are an obligatory stop for tourists, like the oil fields.
Midland also has a team of minor league baseball, a member of the Athletics Oakland.

I'll be honest. If I were a billionaire, I pack up and go to San Diego today. But since I'm not, I have to take into account the price of houses and find ways to live within my means.
This is where Midland, TX real estate shines. With a Midland home costs half the national average, are some of the most affordable housing in the nation.
