Philadelphia Phillies Tickets – the cream of the crop in the Top
The Philadelphia Phillies may have the best managers and coaches in the world lined up to working with the team. The Phillies themselves are some of the best players in the world, but that does not mean they do not still have to work hard for them. No matter how you lines, however, the Phillies have a great group of coaches standing this year. The list includes Charlie Manual, hitting coach Milt Thompson, pitching coach Rich Dubee, bench coach Pete Mackanin, first base coach Davey Lopes, third base coach Sam Perlozzo, bullpen coach Mick Billmeyer, bullpen catcher Tim Gradoville, director of medical services Dr. Michael Ciccotti, MD, the athletic trainer Scott Sheridan, assistant athletic trainer, Mark Anderson, ATC and conditioning coordinator Dong Lien.
What do all these members mentioned above do? They work together to make a really great team off the roster to 40 players that will be heading to spring training earlier. The list includes pitchers Joe Bisenius, Joe Blanton, Andrew Carpenter, Carlos Carrasco, Clay Condrey, Chad Durbin, Adam Eaton, Sergio Escalona, Scott Eyre, Cole Hamels, JA Happ, Kendrick Kyle, Brad Lidge, Ryan Madson, Robert Mosebach, Jamie Moyer, Brett Myers, Drew Naylor, Scott Nestor Park Chan Ho, JC Romero and Michael Zagurski, receivers Chris Coste, Lou Marson, Joel Naughton, Ronny Paulino and Carlos Ruiz, infielders Eric Bruntlett, Greg Dobbs, Pedro Feliz, Brad Harman Ryan Howard, Jimmy Rollins and Chase Utley, and outfielders Raul Ibanez, Geoff Jenkins, John Mayberry, Matt Stairs, Shane Victorino and Jayson Werth.
So where do you take a large group of coaches and trainers and managers with a 40-man roster? Well, if you Phillies to get everyone packed and ready for work and head down to Clearwater, Florida. Bright House Field will host the Phillies this year for Spring Training 2009 season and the Grapefruit League, which officially begins with a benefit game on February 26 against Toronto.
The games continue with a lineup that includes games against the Rays, Canada in an exhibition match, the United States in an exhibition game, the Tigers, Reds, Braves, Pirates, Cardinals, Reds again, the Blue Jays again, the Twins, the Yankees back to back from two games, the Red Sox, the Astros and Blue Jays for the third time in March.
With this type line and deep spring training, it sounds as if the Phillies take a few moments to stop and get sore or sit and rest, but then and this is the baseball season ahead and if the Phillies are excited because it should be about getting back into the swing of things, then there will be a dull moment in training, in the field, in games or any other time the Phillies are doing what they love doing best, which is play baseball.
As time winds inactivity, local events are to be cleared for the Phillies as well, including the opportunity to bid goodbye to cold weather.
