The University of Kentucky athletics have existed since the early 1900s and have a proven track record for producing championship-caliber teams. In the men's basketball program has won the NCAA tournament in 1948, 1949, 1951, 1958, 1978, 1996 and 1998 and has played in 13 games in the Final Four. The program UK football has played in five bowl games since 1999.

Kentucky fans have followed the Kentucky Wildcats sports teams since the days of Bryan Adolph Rupp and Bear. During the years of Rupp's basketball teams had very successful UK and seems to have been a relative success since then. Many players of the United Kingdom was all to play in the NBA with great success at that level. Many returned to live in Kentucky or visit the school often helping to recruit in the state.
University of Kentucky Wildcats sports teams have always dominated the majority of fans in the state university compared to other schools like the University of Louisville, Eastern University, Western University and the University of Morehead.
University of Kentucky Wildcats Sports fanaticism is something that is often passed from generation to generation. The term "blue blood" is used to describe a true fan of the United Kingdom and member of True Blue Nation. I love to look forward to the forthcoming seasons and keep an eye on the University of Kentucky sports teams recruiting classes. Rico Brooks has me really excited about the upcoming football season. The last three years, the Kentucky football team has won three bowls and the team just seems to be getting better and better every year.
With the addition the new basketball coach John Calipari I'm really looking forward to the upcoming basketball season in the UK. This man has proven winner and style intense training and imposing character I love the basketball program even more. I think it will have much success in the UK creating a competitor Champion National new, something that has been missing in recent seasons.
To conclude the UK is a great team to watch for many reasons, especially if you like the passion of college sports. University of Kentucky Wildcats sports teams always my team!
