Georgia State volleyball Jocelyn Walden, a review of his career

Jocelyn Walden, the only senior on the Panthers team during the season 2009 is the sixth Canadian to play Georgia. The fundamental biology played volleyball all four years of high school and three years of football before deciding to become a Lady Panther.

During his first preseason years, Jocelyn flourished in the win over Gardner-Webb where he established a season high with 10 deaths, five digs and five blocks. A week earlier against the team from James Madison, Jocelyn had five kills, five digs and five blocks, while in the same week she was honored as a member of the team throughout the tournament, where McAlister's Deli Invitational / Seahawk.

As a sophomore, his achievements most notable pre-season game occurred during the team's victory where Jocelyn ETSU ended the match with ten kills and a .400 hitting percentage. Two weeks later, she had a .500 playing against Appalachian State and increasing their effectiveness, impacting on the next game against Kennesaw State, where he had a .528 hitting percentage blasting eight kills and five blocks placement.

In its third year had established himself as Jocelyn one of the main threats serving on the conference of the Colonial Athletic Association. She served an average of 0.30 aces per game and finished tenth in the conference.

The Panthers began their conference regular season with a win in five sets on Delaware, where Jocelyn had eight kills. She followed that with a game without errors against SMU notched four kills on nine total attacks. After working his way the Georgia State team statistical tables, Jocelyn was excavated third most on the team with 191. In the category of blocking, finished third with 38 total and was the first to serve, having scored a total of 25 aces.

In 2009 season was his last season as a volleyball player from Georgia and she made the best of it for the first time for committing no errors in the match against the Navy team, where he finished with 10 kills and had a .588 hitting percentage. A month later against Mercer, the Canadian volleyball player had 11 kills with two errors and scored only seven blocks with nine digs.

Since becoming a volleyball player from Georgia, Jocelyn won prize Colonial Athletic Association Commissioner Scholar for four years. As a player Panther finished with 479 kills, 451 digs, service aces and 106 assists 52.
