What is responsible for the slide Mets?
I live near Philadelphia (still a fan of Athletics) and does not receive any news from New York. I want to know if a particular team aspects (pitching, batting, fielding), some players in particular, or a combination of elements. GO METS !!!!!
It is especially bad in fact its ugly pitching pitching. Glavine's ERA has gone from 3.88 to 4.14 Oliver Perez allowed six runs in his last outing and John Maine has been streaky throughout the season, but has had one of his worst lines now giving up 18 runs in four starts. Pedro Martinez has not been able to pitch deep in games good and Mets' bullpen has been blowing too many games
