A member of the board of athletics and three randomly chosen from ten students, five of whom are brokers. The council positions are president, secretary and treasurer. Determine the probability that a) the committee is composed of all brokers. B) The committee consists three older runners c) the greatest runner is president, the second oldest runner is the secretary, and most third runner is the treasurer. = 8.333 …%. 5 * 4 * 3 is the total possible outcomes for runners b) (3 * 2 * 1) / (10 * 9 *
= 8333 …%. Since only three can be aged, and take into account the number of results of them taking different positions, this would be 3 * 2 * 1. c) 1 / (10 * 9 *
= 13 888% … Not only would a higher result than is the president, along the greater the secretary, and the third is the treasurer.
