I am helping to design a shirt in my school?
At my school who want to help design a shirt to promote school spirit and not just athletics. I'm trying to design a shirt on the front that says the school name and "JV honors English" Does anyone have any good idea to cool drawings or slogans for the shirt? I want to get something really cool, but I'm a bit stuck. Something that may help is that this is a course in British literature, and so far we have learned about the Vikings and Shakespeare. This may or may not help. I am open to all ideas, but try to maintain appropriate school
What about a character like a comic book hero, Norse warrior or whatever, but instead of wielding a sword that is a huge feather? With maybe a giant inkwell Instead of a castle in the background, and a lot of punctuation marks (instead of "Biffs battle," blood and guts, etc) flying around? Or you could heraldic go with a shield that represents the elements used in the practice of literature (pencil, ink, lamp, book), although this is a bit boring. Very schoolish, however. Or you could consider a knight on horseback, carrying a pen instead of a spear framed by some suitable images. The dragon writhes of ignorance, perhaps. The waving flags and whatnot could take the text. I'd do the latter in black and white wood engraving style. For the first, I would be in the style of comics, probably in black and white. Printable cheaper and more effective. I love to do a job like this. Unfortunately I suspect you can not pay my (sigh) so it's back to boring for me. I wish I was in high school again.
