Jody Cranston Pacific Lifts open

The Third Annual Press Pacific Bank and Deadlift Open Championship.
Valley Athletic Club.
September 13, 2008.

If every time he looked like a contest for a Powerlifting Pro-Sports All Star Game ", this was the contest. The amount of reports both attempted and sets and National / World Class lifts completed, for the number of lifters was really amazing! Go to the World Association of pressers The Bench and Deadlifters to see all the statistics in this tournament and be surprised.

How was "The Vancouver Powerlifting Club" do? Let's go back to when Robert, Nancy and I left Vancouver on Friday, September 12 and find out. As always the drive to the border and down the I-5 was a lot of fun, lots of laughs and the time seemed to go very quickly. All weighed less than our success in the weight division then went to a Mexican restaurant to replace.

Thank goodness for "bottomless" Nachos and Salsa! I think Nancy and me chips and salsa consumed continuously until the main dishes arrived. The Robert next time you have to bring your "A" game to the Dinner Table to keep pace. After a great meal and, as always, great conversation (if a great time with Robert and Nancy) it was time to rest relax and prepare for "The Pacific Open Bench Press and Dead Championship."

The Powerlifting Club Vancouver reconvened the next morning down Breakfast at the hotel at about 7:45 am. After pre-loading on fuel perfect competition, Nancy imitating everything they ate, we were on our way to the competition, which was about 5 minutes.

Competition:
The heater area was spacious, we used the Fitness Center that is inserted into the gym where the competition was and gave ourselves a lot of time for a "no stress" the environment. The heating went off without a hitch, to the Annual "Open Third Pacific bench press and Deadlift Championships, Nancy, Robert and I are ready to lift …

Nancy Carpenter: First Place Bank Press./198 pounds. at 148 pounds. Division 45 – Registration 49 women WABDL is Canadian. A feat incredible force, almost 200 pounds. Nancy is always focused, stoic and, of course, powerful. 200 lbs. Bench press and beyond it in the near future. This I promise. Nancy is also the best coach I could.

Robert Smith O: First Place Bank Press./545 pounds. in 308-pound division, 65 + Men Master. To see the true story of Roberts contest going to see his two valiant attempts Benchbozo.blogspot.com video lbs.on 600. Robert is the strongest and Section presser over 65 years in the world, but, incredibly, Robert seems to be just the beginning. 600 lbs. dramatically going to happen at the World Championships this WABDL November in Las Vegas.

Jody Cranston: First Place Bank Press./375 pounds. at 181 pounds. Division, Sub-Master ~ The Canadian men and registry WABDL ~ First Deadlift/568 pounds. at 181 pounds. Division, Sub-Master Men. First, the Press Room. I am very happy with 375 lbs., He was fast and controlled I know I will be able to do more in the future. Now, the dead weight. My final lift, 568 lbs. was solid, almost light … almost. I can not wait to try more heavy in the future.

The consequences:
I love statistics, especially good as "The Vancouver Powerlifting Club" for this meeting. But usually reveals the true for any meeting is among the numbers, this tournament was no different. Robert and Nancy two attempts of more than 600 pounds. and 200 pounds. , Respectively, can not be overstated. I know my friends and teammates stubborn barriers will break soon. The overall quality of the abolition of this contest was phenomenal, better up then most national federations. As always, the experience was impressive, especially with Robert and Nancy for sharing.

Post Script:
After the tournament I realized that I have not received my user. I was warming up for the dead weight bench press when presenting the awards was happening. At the time of its presentation of the Awards Dead in my division that was sold. They are being mail to me. I told Richard Schuller, (Multi-Champion Nacional) no problem about the Awards, Leamon Woodley (one of the all-time U.S. Lifters) told me "Good lift." I told Richard that means more than any award … "Certainly not," he said, "It certainly does."
