Tarell Brown was arrested for possession of marijuana and having a 9mm load. According to the arrest affidavit, Brown was arrested after the Police arrested Harris in a traffic stop on Interstate 35 North just before 3:00 a.m. Brown was asleep in the backseat. Deputies saw a gun in her lap, and beat car window to wake him. Balagî said the weapon was a gun "leisure" Gatewood had bought two weeks ago for target practice. The report said it was a load of 9 mm pistol. Balagî Brown said he had found the gun on the floor of the backseat and picked it up.
